topics for newsletter

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I put together a newsletter for a local attention deficit disorders support group. The letter goes to parents, schools and professionals who work with ADHD children (primarily) and adults. But we also support those dealing with attention issues who do not fit the dx of ADHD.

Our topic for Oct. is advocating for an ADHD child and I’m looking for ideas on what should be contained in the issue.

Any suggestions on what is highly important info or what parents who have to advocate for ADHD children would be interested in reading?

My boys have dyslexia and anxiety. Attention is an issue for them (but not considered ADHD) but is addressed in the IEP so I have limited experience, personally, with ADHD being our primary concern.

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks
