I have never heard of this test, so I looked it up! As I am sure you know it is a used “…. as a screen for students suspected of having ADHD or learning problems; as a diagnostic tool as part of a multi-disciplinary assessment of children and adults who may have attention deficit; and as an aid in helping to determine the dosage level and to monitor the use of medication over time.”

I read a review of the TOVA at:

http://alpha.fdu.edu/psychology/cpt_review.htm

It was pretty intersting.

I also read that they should have given you more than just that one score, like Raw Scores, Standard Scores, Standard Deviations. Did you get anything else??

My son took this but i never was given a numerical score-I was shown bar graphs of what would be typical for his age and gender and where he was.

He had slow processing(associated with ADD) and 5 mg adderall upped his processing into low normal ranges(he regualrly takes 10mg now)

Was he given a test with and without meds?
