What is your interpretation of cluster?

If the results of an assessment show “cluster” what does that mean?

What tests, what clusters?

THere are certain groups of subtests that are often low or high together — so in the WISC, the “digit span” and the “arithmetic” are often low together since both rely on quick, fairly rote, auditory processing. Looking at the kinds of tests that are high or low together can be very useful in figuring out what kinds of things are going to be easy & hard in classroom settinsg, and how best to teach so a kiddo can learn.

The test is the Gesell Maturation Assessment. My son’s teacher said he “clustered” and the Dyslexia teacher is doing further testing. I’ll meet with her in a week or two once all testing is done for an explanation, but was just wondering what the cluster meant.
Thanks for the answer! :-)
