Hi there,
How are you. I was wondering of someone might be able to provide some feedback to me about the following issue: recently, my wife found to have significant learning disabilities as well as ADHD. She was tested and diagnosed by a well-known doctor who specializes in both of these conditions. She is scheduled to take the GED test this December, and unfortunately, we do not have the GED “Learning and Other Cognitive Disorders - Testing Accommodations Request Form” filled out and ready to submit. The aforementioned doctor had attempted to fill out the form, but then told us that they – referring to the GED officials, I suppose - will probably require additional testing, a report in their own format. I am not thrilled with his response, but I really do not have the time or energy to engage in an argument with this individual. Instead, I simple must move forward and go about trying to get this very important form completed.
.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best way to move forward with this process? We need to get this form filled out asap, but at same time, our financial resources are very limited at the time. Are there any online resources where I could find out how to get this form completed? Is there any organization that you suggest I phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
rbracch
Here’s a link where they provide some information and also the forms to download.
It would also help to contact your local GED Tsting Center as well.
