I think most teachers would have a hard time with the idea. Of course some give take home tests of their own accord but that is usually offered to the whole class and doesn’t really happen very often. What specifically are you trying to accomodate? There probably is a way to accomplish the same thing in school that WOULD be considered reasonable.Students can be given extra (even unlimited) time to take tests. They can take them in a quiet area other than the classroom. They can have questions re-worded for clarity. The page format can be altered (more white space on a page, fewer problems/page)The length of the test can be shortened. They may be allowed to use certain aids, tools or prompts like calculator, multiplication chart or formula sheet. Those are just a few off the top of my head. What is “reasonable really depends o what the problem is. There aren’t too many problems that I can think of that would require that a child do work at home. Only something like severe psychological issues or contagious illness would necessitate a student working specifically at home.: Is a take home test for Algebra a reasonable or acceptable
