It looks like Reading 180 assumes a certain amt of skill in reading. There is no statement, that I could find on the website, but it looks like a program for kids who already read and maybe are not dyslexic. They are high risk. Any good (better) options out there. I’m assumign the guy wants something packaged up together. I’m sure one could put some stuff together including comprehension, some word attack, etc.
I could imagine using combos of Rewards or Megawords (or similar program for multisyllable words); something with literature and for fluency, say Don Johnston’s Start to Finish books. Some critical thinking programs or just discussion of literature read/listened to. And then use OG approaches with the kids who need more intensive reading approaches.
Any ideas, aside from mine?
