I am currently staying home with my 2 boys and have not been in the “teaching field” for about 2 years. However, I do try to keep abreast of current issues in special education. I read something in a different forum over the debate on doing 3 year IEP reviews instead of once a year. My question is: “Are IEP reviews now every 3 years?” Or is this something that is trying to be passed in legislation. Thanks!
It is one of the items on the list of possible changes to the current IDEA law. It would be optional, not required. The revisions have not been passed yet.
