I think you’d get more answers over on the Reading bulletin board.Read Naturally is relatively expensive, and I believe not used much by homeschoolers. It is more often used by teachers in a classroom setting (perhaps because of the cost?). I have seen some positive comments about it as a supplement to other reading programs. There was a recent post about how to do “repetitive reading” on the DyslexiaSupport list. If you go to http://www.groups.yahoo.com and join the DyslexiaSupport list, you can scroll back to the message. This would be an inexpensive technique to do at home, and it is supposed to help fluency. Or email me privately, and I will email you a copy of the post. I haven’t used this technique with my daughter, but those who have used it seem to think it can help. I think it may be similar to the Read Naturally approach, but I’m not sure.Mary: I’m looking for some help with reading fluency for my 4th grader.
