Has anyone had positive experiences with this?
Re: Audioblox
There was a post some time ago from a mother who reported truly amazing positive results from Audiblox. Unfortunately the archives have been lost with this new board, which was supposed to protect from trolls but isn’t doing that either.
Anyhow the mother who got really exceptional results said that she and her child used Audiblox faithfully five times a week, 30 minutes a day, for a fairly long period of time — I believe six months or more.
This fits in well with what we know about teaching and learning — spaced repeated practice over a good period of time is the most effective method.
You get out of life what you put into it — yes, six months looks like a long time now, but consider it an investment in the next sixty years or more of the person’s life.

I believe the current price is 250 for a home kit. This includes a computer program too.
With severe problems, you may need to spend more time than 1/2 hour a day. It may take 1 hour for a year or more. But look at the long run. If this will help your child, you will have far fewer years of tutoring and heartache down the road. You get out of it what you are willing to put in it. I think a lot of people have not put in the effort with this program and have only used some of the exercises and given up too soon. That is why I believe some have gone on to other programs.
Go to their website. If you have questions, I know they will be happy to help you. www.audiblox2000.com
It is a very powerful program. You need to put in the time though. It is not a quick fix, but if the time is put in, you will see amazing results. I have seen increases in memory, sequencing, organization, coordination, focusing (attending), and self confidence.
