Someone mentioned this in another post. I’ve been to the website, and it looks quite interesting. Could anyone post more information with their personal experience with audioblox? Have you been through the six day training? Thanks.
what kind of controversies?
My limited search didn’t yield any info. Can you suggest a site or two?
Thanks.

Re: audioblox
The program is very good for developing concentration, visual and auditory sequencing skills, processing skills, etc.
thank you
That’s what it seemed like on the website. I have a few students who need some really targeted work on processing skills.
Processing skills?
What skills are considered processing skills? My son was diagnosed with integrative processing deficits. The doc also used the words executive functioning and global processing.

Re: audioblox
The cost of the training over here in australia was phenomenally expensive for the 5 or 6 days 2000A$ not including accommodation.
Re: audioblox
Check the price of Audiblox out with other parents who have used the program — as I understand it from other posters here, you can buy the materials and a manual for a very low price, and do it yourself, without the extensive training.
Posters who have had success say that you have to dedicate time to the Audiblox program, sticking to it every single day for several months, but they do claim excellent success after that amount of work.
Re: audioblox
Yes, watch for used sets, too. Training is not required. I bought Turbo-Tutor at a very good price on ebay. You just have to be patient and search for them.

Do be sure to do a search on it to find some of the more interesting controversies around it :-) Its authors have some rather interesting opinions about the nature of things like ADHD.
