I’m new to this forum. I’m from Malaysia and I’m working in an NGO for persons with LD. I’ve just started a computer classes for them…just teaching them how to type using Microsoft Word. Was wondering if there’s anyone here who has experience teaching computers to persons with LD?
I’m on another email list called “QIAT” (“quality indicators for assistive technology” - but mainly it’s people working with technology and people with special needs), and lots of those folks do. http://natri.uky.edu/assoc_projects/qiat/ is the website.
I help a lot of people get assignments done on the computer and I wish they could have somebody teaching them so they had time to focus on that too!
