Co:Writer is a word prediction software program that is beneficial for some students. It is available for the Mac and PC. (There are other versions that are less expensive that are available for the PC)
Co:Writer facilitates the writing process by minimizing key strokes, if that is necessary, or by providing suggestions for words. Some students only use it for the spelling model that it can provide. Other students benefit from the full features available in the program.
Why has it been recommended for your daughter? What operating system is on the classroom computers?
