Did anyone heard about Dore programme? It’s a programme with exercises that stimulate the cerebellum. I would like to know whether it’s useful for LD. Thanks.

Re: Dore programme
The Dore programme can be very effective. I used it to tackle my dyslexia and it changed my life. However it doesn’t work for everyone.
You can read more about on my website Myomancy. It includes a section specifically about Dore.
I also have a treatment database listing lots of different treatment. Check out the coordination and balance sections for alternatives to Dore.

Whether or not Dore is helpful depends on the LD and what underlying causes there are for the LD. For children with sensory integration disorder (SID), Dore should be helpful. If a reading LD is caused primarily by phonemic awareness difficulties, then Dore probably won’t help. There is a tremendous gray area in-between also.
