So, what do you think? Are they any use?

I”ve peeked at it — it looks like reasonably structured practice but would still require a fair amount of coaching and talking through it. Multidigit multiplication is awfully complex. It still has (for the math anxious) an awful lot of numbers jumping out at you, and you have to know where to look to get the guidance as to what to do. The layout isn’t such that your eyes naturally find it (oh my gosh, that semester graphic design course has had its impact on me!!!)

Obviously, with all three segments (there’s also a Long Division section) some amount of parent/teacher assistance should be given to the student prior to letting them loose.

Alas, a lot of the practice now requires that you buy the CD (though maybe the times tables are still free). I was looking for exponent practice just the other day.
