HELP!!! I am currently teaching 5th grade learning support. I can have students who range from a late first grade level to a fifth grade level for reading. I am looking for any suggestions and/or strategies to effectively teach my class while meeting the needs of my students.
Do you have some kind of a test that you are using to find out strengths/ weaknesses? First, you need to know where they are…so you know where to take them?
What is “learning support”, is it a pull out program? Are you in the room with other students ? WHat is the arrangement? Tell me a little more so I can understand how to help? Do you have a remedial program you use or are you looking for one?
