Well, I’m always skeptical of programs I’ve never heard of, but I suppose there will be many new ones now that the reading research is widely available.
Sound Reading Solutions is a CD-rom. I personally have nothing against CD-roms for practice, but I would not use it for my main reading program. A computer cannot replace interaction with a teacher.
If you want a practice CD-rom, why not try “Read, Write, and Type!” which is the only CD-rom recommended on the Schwab Learning site for recommended reading programs. You can pick up a new copy for under $10 on ebay. I just ordered a couple but have not tried them yet.

I’d lean toward Phon-Graphix to remediate the reading problems.
