My son was recently labeled with Non Verbal Learning Difference. He was been in Special Ed classes since Kindergarden (which he had to repeat). He is now in 2nd grade and reading and math are both still are on a kindergarden level. Our resource teacher has never taught a Non Verbal Learning Difference child and his class teacher has no experience either. I help him at home but wondering if any recommendations on special computer programs or other tutoring material available for parents. I hear about Linda Bell programs, but non available in this area that I am aware of (NC). Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I am tired of fighting teachers and principals and crying myself to sleep at night.
