I have three children with learning disabilities. They need specialized tutoring that the school’s can not offer.
Does anyone have advice or experience with insurace helping with costs?

Welcome, Tina.

I know of no insurance which covers “tutoring.” What special help is needed?

The reason I ask is that insurances will cover some “therapies.” And the school “needs” to prove the specialiazed tutoring if it is necessary for a free and appropriate education. If they can not provide it they must (in theory anyway) pay for it to be done independantly.

Have you posted this question (with more detail) in the parenting or teachers forums? Those forums get a lot more traffic and it is more likely that someone who can help will see the post there.

Good luck,
