An interesting program

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I wanted you all to know about a summer camp for kids with dyslexics in the Rockies, specifically in Wyoming, next to Yellowstone. They teach Orotn-Gillingham phonics and spelling in a one-on-one format, and there are outdoor pursuits in the afternoon, including horseback riding and mountain-biking. If you have a dyslexic child, you may want to check out their website: www.shoshonesummer.com

Wow! That really looked fantastic….UNTIL I got to the price page:

$5800 for 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are poor, you might get a scholarship. But if you are a hard working, two income family, you don’t get a scholarship, and you certainly can’t afford that kind of fee. So I guess the camp is made up of the very poor and the very wealthy.
