K370 topic- math software

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

This was a good article to help find software to use in a classroom. There are also companies to contact for more information about the software they produce. We think software would be a good way to reinforce math topics in a fun way that will keep the students attention and not frustrate them.

I’m sure that most of you are doing this already, but just like Dr. CW said, and you have learned in other situations, COLLECT STUFF! Even if you hate to be a pack-rat, the info you get thru connecting sites on the internet can be a great help to you. There is a good site called MARCOPOLO.COM (I think that’s what it is) that posts questions and answers all the time. You can join and find out all kinds of tips from educators all over the world.
Many companies will send you free samples of their software. Once your name is on their mailing list, it will be there until the world ends. ;)
