Learning Disabilities professional Development

Hi all,

I am an Australian teacher who teachers students with Learning Disabilities. I have been granted 12 months leave next year and want to know of any great workshops that I could attend

Are you traveling to U.S.? How much money do you have to spend? What kind of LD’s. I think you can get a lot of ideas from backposts. Then try checking out websites of programs that interest you. Unfortuately so many workshops in U.S. scattered around. My first candidate would be LIPS, Seeing Stars, Vand V from Lindamood-Bell and now in London. You might look at house exchanges to there or might even be able to offer tuition after training in return for room and board with a local family.
