the literacy conference in August at CSU Monterey Bay Calif.

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Is anyone planning on going to this conference? It is geared towards literacy and leadership techniques to impact change in public schools. I really want to go, here are some of the speakers. Louisa Moats, Reid Lyon, Pat Lindamood, Judy Montgomery, Elizabeth Wigg, Wayne Secord, etc…. They are pulling top SLP researchers and reading researchers together to get SLP’s on board the literacy train…

Hmmm…. let me think…. it’s early August so maybe I could do it - would have to dive into savings a bit, but heck, I’m getting a little stipedn from this summer project too…. I’m going to focus hard on that for this next week and if I make a big enough dent in it, then that will be my reward :-)
