Math Prep for PPST - College

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Hello,
My daughter is struggling to pass the math portion of the pre-professional skills test for admittance into a college education program. She is points away from passing, this and moving into the program of choice. Does anyone have any tips on preparing for this - she has a specific learning disability and has always found math to be very difficult, if it has many steps in the process.
We have used all the commercial test prep books, CD programs. Wonder if you’d have any good advice. It would be welcome.
Thanks!

Relax, take a deep breath, slow down, and double-check your work.

Honest, this is what I work with my tutoring students on, and a positive attitude and a habit of checking your work can raise your marks ten to twenty points.

Please see my other post above,on how to fail tests.
