Math with Time Sheets for workers.....

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Remember to teach them this trick…..
15 minutes is .25 ; 30 minutes is .50 ; 45 minutes is .75 .
1pm is the thirteenth hour ( 13.00 ) . 5pm is the 17th hour
( 17.00 ) . So, if you start at 10:30pm, work through a paid
lunch, and end at 5pm, the equation is 17.00-10.50 =
6 1/2 hours.

So, I can quickly add-up my daily hours for my Time Sheet,
I convert the time ( in hours/minutes ) to decimal, then do the math;
I use an extra sheet of “scratch paper” and a calculator.
“Time is of the essence” ( LOL ) .

I HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAVING A GOOD WEEKEND!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
