My son currently sees a developmental pediatrician at least once a year for a multidisciplinary eval and now I want him to have a neuropsych evaluation to hopefully receive more insight into what is going on with hi,m. I am a little unclear what they do at a neuropsych eval and what they can tell you about the child. Anyone one provide any insight into this? Thanks in advance

I found a very good article that describes a neuropsych eval at (www.aspennj.org/neuro.html). It’s called “Unraveling the Neuropsychological Assessment.”
It’s on a site of Asperger’s but the article is relevant for all neuropsych evals.
