Anyone heard of a phoneme-blending software? I heard there was such a thing, but don’t have any info. on it. Supposed to help kids blend phonemes at a faster rate so they don’t lose the meaning of what they’re reading. I heard about it on a pysychology show on PBS, but they didn’t mention the name of the software. I have gone to the website that was given at the end of the show, but it doesn’t give info. other than what that show was about if I wanted to order the video of it.
Re: Phoneme-blending software?
There is a program called “Earobics” from Cognitive Concepts that addresses many aspects of phonological awareness. I use step 1 and step 2, which are geared for younger students, but I think they make one for older students as well, depending on how old your child is.

I wonder if that is ‘Fast Forward’?
Haven’t used it, or looked into it, but it seems
like the right name for what you are describing.
