quickpad vs. alphasmart?
Anyone familar with the QuickPad Pro IR. I look similar to an AlphaSmart. I’m wondering if one is better than the other.
I bought quickpad and used it for 3 weeks. I am a clinical social worker with a son who has some ld issues. He has used alphasmart at school as well as a lap top. Quickpad was very disappointing–it did not sychronize with my computer. I could download to my computer (although it repeated each file 6 times-for some strange reason) but was not equipt to transfer info to my quickpad in a readable format. I was told by their tech service—that there were still a lot of kinks that needed to be fixed. Yes there are. I returned it. I needed to use something that could be up and running quickly. Too many problems and service was not that great. Have you used dreamwriter–any thoughts on that product. I would like to try that or alpha smart. Any ideas would be appreciated
