My name is Bonnie Kerr and we up here in Canada well at least my local chapter of L.D. have be runnig a support group for almost 2 years now if you would like may be we could exchange notes or who knows have a list of members who would like to excahnge infromation from one country to another , would love to hear more . Imagine the L.D. people unite he!! we could take over the world, well okay maybe I can get alittle carried away but our group has had many sucessful members get over some real challenges.Our group is part of a larger network that help individuals find meaningful , sustainable employment (you know past the Mickey D’s counter service level )he!! many of our members have sucessfully found that they have become their own bosses and are okay not rich but at least making the mortgage and such each month Love to hear from ya and feel free to ask for any thing that /I can pass along would love to help

Yes I would love to exchange notes, emails, that would be really great, very very helpful.

Right now we have several people in our group; I am meeting up with several other people this week.

We just had our first meeting the other night; it was interesting to hear of similar experiences and situations. We’re having another meeting this coming Friday night-March 28.

I would be very interested in exchanging emails with you, I’m incredibly interested in hearing your experience.

I totally envision this as the sort of group that can change the world for the better. Sometimes it’s difficult though to figure out where to start.

I actually take great inspiration from the Canadians when approaching this because so much of the LD research that I’ve read has come from Canada; it’s fantastic! I keep collecting studies; if you know of any new ones online let me know-I am incredibly interested in keeping up with what’s going on in the world of researching learning disabilities, there’s something that can be learned from everything you read!
