Hope it helps.I work in a library and have taught several kids to tie their laces: steps: 1) first tie a simple cross over knot 2) make a loop, holding it in your left hand (call it a “bunny ear”) 3) with your right hand, take the longer string and call it a “hat,looping it over the “bunny ear” 4) poke a loop under the “hat” — call it the second “bunny ear” andpull — guess what? you’ve tied your shoe.
