Hi. I am the parent of an inclusion middle school child. Can anyone explain to me the difference between direct and indirect teacher consultant services? Also, would there be a difference between services provided by a resource room teacher pushing in resource room services into a regular ed class vs. services provided normally by a special ed teacher in an Inclusion classroom for Inclusion Student? Our disrtict wants to change our Inclusion Program to Resource Room/Push In, and they are claiming its the same thing. I thinkthey’re trying to combine the two programs. Can anyone clarify this? Thanks for your help!!
Re: Teacher Consultant Services
Direct services are services eyeball to eyeball with students.
Indirect services are services provided to a child’s teacher to successfully
work with a student.
