Students with Down Syndrome has some very unique characteristics. Many of the students I have worked with can be stubborn. You will have to have a lot of patience and may have to get used to repeating your self a lot. Speak slowly and do not give to much information at one time because their processing may be slower. Autism and Down Syndrome is a very intersting combonation-Good Luck
