How do I go about finding an OG or PG or LMB tutor? I am near Buffalo, New York.

Thanks for your input

Hi Mayleng,

Two suggestions. Call your local International Dyslexia Association office who should be able to give you names of reading tutors. When I did this, I can’t remember if the list specified their specialties or not.

Also, for the PG tutors, go to http://www.readamerica.net and you should find the link that will take to to local PG tutors in your area.

PT, thank you.

I tried readamerica yesterday but there was something wrong with their site.

We emailed the IDA and they mailed us a list of OG tutors in our area.

Thanks Leah. This is for a little boy my son’s Tutor has been tutoring. He has been homeschooled because they could not help him at school (where did we hear that one before). Now at 4th grade, the mom said he has hit a wall. So they went to my son’s tutor who also said that she cannot bring him pass a certain point. My son has exceeded him in reading and Michael has only been remediated for only one month.
Anyway, I was hoping to find an OG tutor in the area for him, which is what I think he needs.

I will email the IDA. Thanks
