Hello! I’m wondering what differentiates the Wilson Reading System from Lindamood-Bell’s programs. From what I’ve read, they look very similar and I’m would like to know what is unique about each. Thanks for your help!

One more thing -- Socrates
… LMB brings in teh Socratic method — which is significantly more challenging for the teacher (and pretty much requires being able to think on your feet), but means that the student tends to “discover” rules instead of memorize them.
The biggest difference is that LMB has more speech therapy influence behind it, so more attention is paid to the way that the mouth makes the different speech sounds. Wilson is specifically geared towards older students and has more of the practice of reading skills built into the lessons whether it be words or sentences or short stories.
I’m assuming you understand the similarities — and what differentiates them from otehr reading programs.
