Different But Special

I am different. So what?
I have ADD. Who cares?
I am the kid who has trouble learning even though other kids understand.
You look at me differently and sometimes stare,
And I ask myself why should kids care about how different I am.
Can’t people see that just because I am diffrent doesn’t mean I am not smart.
I am different. So aren’t we all?
I am different and am sometimes embarrassed.
I am different but I am really the girl sitting next to you.
So don’t act like I am dumb because I learn differently and after many years I have learned that it is okay to be different.
