Just got great leaps! a few questions...

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

we are very excited to get started, and I ‘ve read thru the materials and it seems straight forward. One thing I’m not sure of is if my son should have his own copy of each page he is reading, or can I sit next to him. And then do I mark his errors on a seperate page? I don’t want to distract him with my writing down the errors. What has worked at home for any of you?

I also use a clear page protector sheet to put over the teacher page to mark errors. Except I use a dry erase marker which is a little less messy.

And yes, Karen, you do have to have the teacher notebook and student notebook. The child should not see you marking errors or it will throw them off track.
