What does anyone know about ABCRead program of picture mnemonics to learn sounds to read? I don’t know how that program approaches blending of sounds, rules, etc. I have a friend who would like to see if it would be good for her son as a tutoring tool for him. He should be going into 3rd. G., but tested at K level reading last winter. He is LD, but I don’t know specifics.
I don’t know the program, but could probably find out about it. However, I still don’t know the child or his/her problems in reading…and so, am not sure of any intervention.
