Does anyone out there know of a school using Phono-graphix school wide? I’d like to see how it is done and test results. I am very intrieged (no spell check) about all the PG talk here. I have begun using it and think its cool but I’m wondering why I never hear about it anywhere besides this board. Are there other places online talking about this? If so where? I’d like more information. I have visited the web site but I want info from people who are not selling it and making money. I want to see if my son’s charter school would be interested in this program but…. I need facts not commercials.

I am currently a yr 1 teacher who is trained in PG. One other teacher at school also uses this method with excellent results. I will be happy to discuss things further should you wish to e-mail me.
the ReadNOW list at http://www.groups.yahoo.com. People who post there are reading tutors and specialists. Many are trained in Phono-Graphix, and a few have experience with it in a school-wide setting. If you ask there, I’m sure you’ll get some good input.
