Just looked at website. Looks like what I want but I can’t find any prices. Can anyone offer a guide on what I’d need for 6 yr old who can count up to 280 using manipulatives (as many rods as we’ve got) and maybe up to 1000 by tens, add and subtract but still uses fngers to recognize numbers sometimes. (Not to count. sometimes when he sees them he can’t recognize them until he finds them on his fingers. (esp no. 8) Prob because I drew the nos on his fingers to help him see them. But this seems like what he needs to wean away from that. Is there a 2nd hand site for this. Since they don’t have prices I suspect this is expensive.
Re: Touch Math Advice
Thanks! I saw that series but no price. I’m very relieved it wasn’t the $100 plus I was braced for.Eileen wrote:

I love a challenge! I went to the web site and clicked on the online store. From there I went to the page that is called the “All New One-2-One Series”. When you get there pick the grade level you want. The first grade addition and subtraction set is $39.
Every time I see my 4th grade son’s first grade teacher I thank her for using this program. He probably would have eventually learned his addition facts, but this gave him a quick way to be successful at math.
