I am taking a class about the brain and have to do some research. I am looking for any information/journal articles/books/etc. on learned helplessness. Anyone have and info on this subject?Cheryl

My child had experienced much learned helplessness. The reason for this , the contributor to this is Teachers who dont understand LD, Teachers who dont have a warm heart, and a school system that dose not care. Most Ld choldren do not show their true personalities because of the bad experiences in school. This has taken away their real self. You can change this by making a difference in a chhilds life. Be understanding, kind , and most of all be excepting. And if a fellow teacher says something against a LD child stick up for them.(The student)
