Any ideas on hnads on approach or websites for pre-algerbra. I have capable students but quickily lose their interest in standard teaching approaches. Thanks

I would recommend caution with this. Just because it is all manipulative and kids like it, that does not mean that they are learning the skills that they need to succeed in high school. Manipulatives are good, visualization is good, real math *is* concrete — and you absolutely must move fromthe concrete to the abstract, from the particular to the general. And high schools expect competence with written/text work. So aim at a happy medium and keep your math goals firmly in mind.

Try the Creative Publishers .. I have their “hands on pre-algerbra” series which is all a manip. series.
