As a parent of a 9 yr old who started out delayed due to speech and has spent 4 yrs. in an NI sped class I want my cake and eat it too.

I want my son to be learning interesting things to him like history, science that he doesn’t get any of now, I want him to be with nice kids instead of the behavior problems. My son has a great memory and learns alot from listening and exposure.

I also believe that all classes should be no more than 20 kids and all teachers should have an aid. I don’t think any kid should be made to be looked upon by their peers as being in a stupid class.

I have alot of compasion for teachers trying to teach all different levels of kids but smaller groups and help could make it possible.

I also believe that if we are all totally honest we all have difficulty with learning something but somehow whether we realize it or not a teacher helped us learn to the best of our ability.
