I wrote my son’s SLP a note thanking her for all she does and telling her I have gotten lots of comments from friends about my son’s improvement.
She wrote me a sweet note back saying thank you for my note that her compliments are few and far between. If this is true for other SLP’s I am so sorry.
If it wasn’t for the wonderful SLP’s that have worked with my son he could never have achieved what he has.
You are all great and definately exceptionally special people with incredible patience and caring. Just in case noone told you lately.
I too am the product of a wonderful SLP I had as a young child. She taught me how to read, how to spell, how to write, and about idioms. I will forever be in Mrs. Knox’s debt….and part of the reason why I am finishing my graduate studies as an SLP myself. God Bless her wherever she is…
