PALMs in the Classroom

Steve wouldn’t let us have the good software. We don’t get it until the last day.

Not at this time but hopefully by this summer.

We’re just learning to use spreadsheets and databases on the PALM. When we’ve had more experience with both applications, I’ll let you know how useful they can be in the classroom.

Have you thought of using games to intice your student to try palms.

The Palm keyboard helps to create documents in a quick/easy manner. I love it. On line, it’s only $99.00

Applications for observations seems to be a welcome relief.

I don’t think our elementary schools use Palms.Our administrators just got them.

We are looking at Palms in the classroom but do not have the budget for them.

the only application at this time is to aid administration in the observation process

I really can’t tell you to much except that I did just receive my new Palm 505 today. As soon as I finish my workshop I will be able to tell you more.

Fascinating concept but it widdens the gap in districts that “have” from those who “have not”. Using a Palm by students with online learning would greatly lighten the load of the bookbags!

I think that I will being by using them for observations of teachers and then using them for other applications as I become more efficient.
