I have two sons with learning differences. The oldest has severe behavioral problems and has an IEP and is in a special ED classroom. The youngest is the bigger problem right now because he is only one year behind in reading and has been since first grade, therefore he doesn’t qualify for an IEP. He is now going into fourth grade and has spent most of the summer in Vision Therapy and he isn’t getting as much benefit from it as I had hoped. His school is starting a new program this year called Fast Forward and he will be one of the first students to enter the program and I am pretty excited but I hope I am not disappointed again. Anyway I have heard that some kids learn better through touch and feel and I found a website months ago that sold items fairly reasonably like sand trays and wondered if anyone could help me find it again.
NOt sure if this has it… but try www.rlac.com — but you might want their whole printed catalog since I think it has more stuff.
