I’ve been looking for phonetic spell checkers for students in my LD class and am having trouble finding the kind that are small and portable — I don’t want software for my computers!
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Re: Phonetic spell checkers needed
Franklin makes the best ones — but lots of kids don’t spell well enough yet for them. (And forget trying to find “once” phonetically — ain’t gonna happen. First sound is w but Franklin will never figure that out.)
My daughter uses one - I think it’s a Franklin - the AT specialist for the school district gave it to her. You need to contact your assistive technology specialist.
