I recently read a book titled “Learning Outside the Lines” and at the end, it told of a non-profit organization called Eye to Eye. It is a program that takes university students with LD/ADHD and matches them up with elementary school children with similar profiles. The authors state that they created this program to help kids who think as they do and who are now struggling as much as they did. Has anyone heard of it and if you have could you let me know how it worked out.
Re: Eye to Eye
I spoke with the author of the book last year about the chapter of Eye to Eye in NYC because I am an elementary ed. student. I want to be a special ed teacher. I have ADD. I can try to find out about Eye to Eye for you.

I, too, just read Learning Outside the Lines and found it enlightening and helpful.
I don’t have any information on the Eye to Eye program, but would be interested in finding a similar mentor in the Baltimore area.
Please email if you get any good information. I’ll do the same for you.
