I know you can’t please everyone but does the font size on the individual messages need to be so darned big? They take up the entire width of my screen and I feel like I’m reading one of those large print books. The boards are wonderful but I find them really hard to read now.

I also didn’t like how you couldn’t see all the messages. But after choosing “Collapse Threads,” I can see more topics and it will still say “NEW” if a new thread is added to an existing topic.

Thanks KSE. I tried that and it does help, but it still takes so long to get through all of the pages. Does the horizontal format seem too large for your screen? I mean, do you have words going off the page despite changing to the smallest font? I welcome your suggestions on how to remedy this problem! JJ

JJ - I actually have a 17” monitor so I’m probably don’t have quite the same issues. I don’t have a problem with the letters going off the page horizontally. Do you have your browser window maximized? I really don’t like the big Courier font in the posts though.
I agree. There are some bugs that need to be worked out. Messages now take longer to access because the format requires one pull up older pages one by one. No more quick scanning for new messages and new replies. Maybe there is something wrong with my set up (always a distinct possibility…I make no claims to be more than moderately computer-wise!) but before I can go to the next page, I must move my cursor at the bottom of my screen, in order to access the “older messages.” This is necessary because the words are hidden off to the right on the screen. I know the staff is listening…so please know I appreciate the BBs, and hope y’all can find a way to restore a more user friendly system. Thanks. JJ
