Seeking books with ideas and exercises for "Training&qu

I’m hoping someone here might have titles or suggestions for books that may have ideas and exercises for “training” the brain.
Specifically I’m seeking to help a bright child who appears to have processing problems (slow processing), signs of possible dyslexia, some word retrival difficulty, occassional difficulty in communicating ideas, remembering names, and also general “awareness.”
