Thanks for the tip, David, on those flashcards. I ordered them last week, and they are wonderful. Learning difficult words is so easy with these terrific pictures. They’re great for arr students and adults who want to learn vocabulary.
Re: Visual SAT Flashcards
Dear Mary,
I’ve used these cards with my students who have not acquired a large bank of
difficult words through reading. The whimsical pictures are wonderful, and it’s an
extra tool along with the definition, often times funny sentence, and clear
pronunciation. Did you check out the website? You can write to me personally if
you have more questions about how I’m using the cards.

I’ve seen examples of the cards. They good great for the older kids. Have you seen anything similiar for middle elementary school kids 3-4-5 grade) My son has a language impairment (spoken and written) and has excellent visual learning abilities, so these cards would be great. (but a little advanced for a 10year old)
Do you know of any similiar cards for the younger kids?
Thanks
Kathleen
