Sound Reading

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I want to let ya’ll in on a reading program i found on the internet. It’s called sound reading. You can find it by going to soundreading.com. My son has been using it all summer. He has dyslexia, Central and, visual processing problems, also ADD and poor handwritting. This program is working on all these. He is 15 and last tested at 4th/5th grade reading. I have had him tutored in wilson and receipe for reading. He makes progress for a while and then stop progressing with these programs. This program is better if u have a tutor and supplement with the CD but u can order the CD and have the child work on it at home. But i don’t feel the CD cover all these problems. CHECK IT OUT. Let me know what ya’ll think. My tutor really likes this program. Deb

My question is it helping his comprehension and how is it helping his handwriting?
